Whether you are still looking for a mitre saw or you have a mitre saw but need help in using I hoping these resources will be of use.

Video Tutorials

I really wish I knew about these video resources when I got my mitre saw.

Steve Ramsey – Woodworking for Mere Mortals

This YouTube channel has over 800,000 subscribers and is full of woodworking videos. Just what you need for help with your next project. Steve has lots of tutorials on mitres saws as well as projects you can make with them. Check out his YouTube Channel here. I particularly like his video on What You Can Do With a Mitre Saw.

DIY Guy

Another Youtube favourite. This guy hasn’t got quite as many followers but comes with great information. Check out his YouTube channel.

WoodWorkWeb

This website is full of tutorials that will help you make the most of your new mitre saw or give you some ideas why you might want to buy one.

Useful Books

You might not have a laptop or tablet in your garage because of all the dust, therefore you can’t beat a good wood working book. These are my favourites.

Woodworking from Offcuts – No doubt you probably have a great deal of offcuts from all those side projects. Finally you don’t have to throw them away. This book will show you how to use them.

Woodwork: A Step-By-Step Photographic Guide – This is one of my favourites. If you can’t watch videos the next best thing is lots of photos. This is the step by step woodworking book that you need.
